Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has insisted he will not resign from the position.

Ten Hag stated this during his Friday’s press conference ahead of their trip to Crystal Palace.

United go into the game sitting in sixth place with four fixtures left.

The Red Devils will not play in the Champions League next season and are fighting to finish in Europa League places.

The poor season under Ten Hag has led to speculations that he could leave the club this summer.

But the Dutchman told ViaPlay NL: “I assume that I will be Manchester United manager next year.

“I signed a long term deal consciously and I am not a person who walks away.

I Thought I Would Be Sacked After Losing 4-2 To Wolves, Says Pochettino

Published

on

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has picked the match that made him fear he would be sacked by the Premier League.

According to him, it was the 4-2 home defeat to Wolves in February.

The result saw the Blues drop into the bottom half of the table.

When asked if there had ever been a moment he believed he was about to be sacked, Pochettino replied: “I can be honest. I think after Wolves. Remember what happened after, also?

“I didn’t think we were going to be sacked, but it was a tough moment. That defeat at home was really tough, really tough.

“At this moment, as a coach and staff, you feel loneliness. When you feel like everyone is seeing you as if you’re guilty of something and you don’t know what’s going on.”

Chelsea has, however, hit good form recently, winning their last four matches to climb to sixth place in the Premier League ahead of the final day of the season.
