The movie star got married in 2018 and welcomed her first child — named Zion — a year later.

Zion also clocked two years on Wednesday.

In a touching note to mark the occasion, the Nollywood star said she had almost given up on her ability to conceive before she gave birth to him.

Toriola also said that she had intrauterine insemination (IUI) — a fertility treatment that involves direct placement of the sperm into a woman’s uterus — two times but didn’t get any result.

The actress added that she was about opting for in vitro fertilization (IVF) when she discovered that she was already pregnant.

“I wanted to rest after marriage before conception and boom ‘my supposed rest’ finished, no conception,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I didn’t see it as a problem until someone said ‘na so e easy, shebi she don dey married, she never get belle’ As the playful person I am, it didn’t hit until 6 months passed. Then it started to dawn on me.

“I flew to fertility hospital but the annoying thing is ‘you need to go with your partner… that was a tough one because it sure sends signals like ‘abi she don commot her womb before?

“Long story cut short, I was told there was no issue that it would come but eager me wont hear, I had IUI 2 times, the last one, I started having funny symptom of pregnancy, even without test I thought I was pregnant and was unnecessarily careful.

“One month passed, I did test, alas no conception…. I was mad with my self , 30 days of injection and ‘hardwork’ again. My doctor would laugh me and would assure me there was no issue with us…I lost hope in IUI and I was ready for IVF, then miraculously conception came.”

Teebillz Showers Accolades On P.Diddy Amid Domestic Abuse Controversy

Published

on

Billionaire record label owner and businessman P.Diddy is currently involved in one of the biggest controversies of the year, and it’s in relation to him allegedly physically abusing his ex-girlfriend Cassie for years.

While the Western media is currently in chaos over the news, with people removing themselves from the situation and supporting Cassie, over here in Nigeria, we have Teebillz showing support for P.Diddy with his full chest.

In a recent post made by Teebillz, he wrote;

“I grew up wanted to be you and I achieved certain things in life bcos of you! I’m grateful for everything I learned from you! I’m teaching my kids not to idolize no one but God.

I pray for the mental & emotional wellbeing of your children and may God forgive your soul. The best thing I learned from you is being a father regardless…”

Teebillz praised P.Diddy from the angle of being a good parent to his kids and being his mentor. He stated that P.Diddy was the reason why he taught his kids not to idolize anyone.

While the message about P.Diddy being an exemplary father to his kids, and a mentor too, the timing of the message might not sit well with a lot of people because of timing.

Teebillz’s support for P.Diddy might seem controversial, but this isn’t his first rodeo with posts that has raised eyebrows.

Not too long ago, he called out Davido’s former Lawyer Prince for allegedly being the one ruining Davido’s relationship with his first daughter Imade.

Prior to that, he had called out Davido for being a bully to Tiwa Savag*. He didn’t miss out on calling him a dead beat dad, insinuating that he wasn’t taking care of Imade.

While Teebillz has never gotten a response from Davido, the silence hasn’t stopped him from speaking his mind.

Recall that Wunmi, who had previously expressed her willingness for a DNA test on her son, said she is no longer open to a DNA test on Liam.

She said only her late husband has the right to request a DNA test from her.
