‘You Don’t Have The Right To Say A Nigerian Movie Did Not Make Sense’- Actress, Ruth Kadiri Tells Critics

Published

on

Nollywood actress and producer, Ruth Kadiri has addressed those who harshly critique Nigerian movies and productions made by Nigerians.

Nigerian movies have over the years come under severe criticisms and most dwelled on the storyline and technical input in the productions as they claim the storyline is not rich and authentic.

Taking to her Instagram story, Ruth Kadiri vented her spleen on critics and stated that no one has the right to run down locally produced movies and say the movies don’t make sense.

According to the mother of one, she will not tolerate it and she made reference to the Lekki massacre that occurred in October 2020 where she reminded Nigerians of when a camcorder was found at Lekki tollgate after the military opened fire at unarmed EndSARS protesters.

She wrote:

No Nigerian has the right to say a Nigerian movie did not make sense. Not critique, not hatter, nothing. I will not tolerate it.

For this same Nigeria, them find camcorder for endsars gate. For this same Nigeria, policeman dey sell Asoebi. Hmmmmmm.

“Let’s normalise sharing stories of relationships and marriages that bring peace, growth and purpose” – Damilola Adegbite clamours

Published

on

Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite is clamouring for the normalisation of sharing good stories about relationships and marriages.

In a video she shared on her Instagram page, she said she still believes that long-lasting relationships still exist. She said, besides the horror and terrible stories we constantly hear, she believes in love and knows she isn’t alone in such thoughts.

Damilola admonished those in good relationships to speak out, as she advocates normalising speaking about relationships that bring peace, growth, and purpose.

“Today, I am feeling some type of way. Is there anyone who still believes in love? Besides the horror and terrible stories that we keep hearing; disappointments in marriages, betrayals, and heartbreak.

I still believe that long-lasting relationships can exist. I feel like I don’t want to be alone; am I dreaming of La La Land?

Does anyone have a partner who has been a genuine blessing? I’m not talking about being in front of the camera; in private, you are something else. I am talking about behind the scenes; your partner has made you a much better version of yourself.

Let’s normalise sharing stories of relationships and marriages that bring peace, growth, and purpose too.

Blessing said that despite Stan’s pay being 100k and her earning more than him, he prayed for her from his heart and reminded her of how great she is.
