…I Will Win Definitely – Comedienne Princess Reacts

…Justice Must Prevail – Iyabo Ojo Vows

Popular Yoruba actor Yomi Fabiyi has finally broken his silence a few hours after Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha was granted bail.

Actor and human rights campaigner Yomi Fabiyi is one of the people who fought for the release of Baba Ijesha after he was accused of sexually harassing a 14-year old girl of his fellow actress Princess.

Yomi has been using his social media page to trumpet against the restriction of bail which was initially placed on him since his arrest.

The lawyer of Baba Ijesha, Adesina Ogunlana, said “He has been granted bail about one hour ago. We are working to perfect the bail. He was granted bail on health grounds. He has not been released. He will be released after his bail conditions have been perfected”.

“Among the bail conditions listed by the lawyer for Baba Ijesha’s release are two reliable sureties – one of them must be a level 10 officers, a direct blood relation, and N500,000 bail bond in like sum.

Reacting to the release of Baba Ijesha, Yomi Fabiyi took to his page and captioned his post on Instagram, “Abuja loun pe bi. Human Rights is Key. There can NEVER be true JUSTICE if the human rights of suspects, complainants violated. Rights which include Fair Hearing and strict adherence to the RULE of LAW. Do more on Human Rights, then Nigeria will develop and be peaceful”.

Meanwhile, the lawyer of popular Yoruba actor who was involved in a rape case Baba Ijesha, Adesina Ogunlana has slammed the Lagos police command, the Attorney-General and the Commissioner for Justice in Lagos, and others who stood against the release of his client.

After the actor was granted bail, lawyer Ogunlana took to his Facebook page on Monday to lambast all those who stood against the release of his client on bail in a Facebook Live session. According to him, Baba Ijesha’s fundamental human rights were trampled on.

But speaking on Monday, a few hours after Baba Ijesha was released, Lawyer Ogunlana slammed the Lagos police and others who stood against Baba Ijesha’s bail.

He said, “How could somebody who is not biased, who is not malicious, how can that person, and I am talking about the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Moyosore Onigbanjo. He is a fine learned gentleman but for goodness sake, how could anybody say a prima facie case of defilement has been disclosed upon the fact of this case?

“We will look into that and take that up because this gentleman, Baba Ijesha, his rights have been brazenly brutalized.”

“As far as we are concerned, both the police and the ministry of justice are to be indicted for this unnecessary brutalization and oppression of Baba Ijesha’s right. If a person is entitled to a right, you give it to him; you don’t need to say whether it conforms with your idea of morality or not. When you know the right thing to do and you refuse to do it, that is a sin,” the lawyer added.

In another development, actress Princess Comedienne has reacted after alleged child molester Baba Ijesha was granted bail yesterday over health issues saying she will definitely win the case.

Baba Ijesha who has been in police custody for molesting a minor at 7 and coming back to molest her again at the age of 14 until the court resumes to take off the case was granted bail yesterday on the grounds that his detention is having negative effects on him medically.

Comedienne Princess happens to be the foster mother of the girl in question and reacting to Baba Ijesha being granted bail made it clear that no matter what she will win the case even if it’s not immediately, she will definitely win it.

According to Comedienne Princess, God does not sleep and He loves children too therefore no matter what others do to help the alleged child molester Baba Ijesha, she believes God will let her win the case when the right time comes.

She went ahead to call on everyone to say no to child defilement and say no to rape asking them to say something if they see something to prevent the kinds of Baba Ijesha who are still roaming around from hurting children over and over again.

Some other actresses who support comedienne Princess promised to make sure the little girl in question gets justice and now that Baba Ijesha has been granted bail, most of them are disappointed in those supporting him but aren’t giving up until justice is served.

In addition, popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has vowed to get justice for the 14-year-old allegedly molested by embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, AKA Baba Ijesha.

Iyabo Ojo said this in reaction to bail granted to Baba Ijesga by the Lagos State Police Command.

Recall that Baba Ijesha, who has been in detention for weeks after he was arrested for alleged sexual molestation of a 14-year-old girl was granted bail by the police on Monday.

His Lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana said he was granted bail on health grounds.

He explained that his client was granted administrative bail by the police in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties.

”The terms of the bail include two reliable sureties- a blood relation and a level 10 civil servant,” he said.

Reacting in a video, Iyabo Ojo said Nigerians were the problem of the country and not the government.

According to her, Nigerians are not bothered about other people’s issues and the country will only get better when people are concerned about others.

”I used to think the government was our problem. I have come to understand that we are our own problem not the government.

”The way we are wired, the way we think, it’s always all about us. Oh! She is not your child, why are pained about it? That’s the same problem we have in Nigeria.

”When someone like that gets to a place of power, they think about themselves and their people.

”We are the problem of Nigeria, the day we begin to take up issues that do not concern us and treat it like it is our own problem, Nigeria will begin to get better.

”I am that mother that will stand for that girl till the end. I am not backing down, justice will be served.”

“God’s Plans Cannot Be Derailed By Human Opinions” — Mercy Johnson

Published

on

Nigerian actress and film director Mercy Johnson-Okojie has shared a message on faith and God’s grace. In a lengthy Instagram post, she said God does not judge people the way humans do.

The actress said God can restore what others reject and redeem what others condemn. She added that when one door closes, God can create new opportunities where none seem possible.

Johnson stressed that God’s mercy and blessings are not determined by public opinion. She described Him as a God of second chances, fresh beginnings and unexpected favour.

She also encouraged her followers to remain faithful and grateful. According to her, true peace comes from trusting God rather than seeking approval from others. She added that people’s opinions cannot stop God’s purpose, and His plans will always prevail.

She wrote: “God is not a man. He does not judge as men judge, nor does he bow to the opinions, mockery, or decisions of people. What men reject, God can restore. What men condemn, God can redeem. When others close doors, God can open windows no one knew existed. His mercy is not limited by human understanding, and His blessings are not controlled by human approval.

“He is the God of second chances, fresh starts, and unexpected favour. He lifts whom He chooses, blesses whom He wills, and writes stories that leave even doubters speechless.

“One of the greatest forms of peace is arriving at a place where you no longer crave to be understood, admired, pitied, or even liked by everyone.

“True peace comes when your confidence is rooted in God, not in people’s opinions. When you stop seeking validation from the world, you begin to experience the freedom that comes from knowing whose own you are.

“Let people talk. Let them misunderstand. Let them mock if they choose. Human conversations never cancel God’s plans. His purpose for your life does not require public approval. Stay faithful. Stay grateful. Stay at peace.

“The same God who brought you through yesterday is still writing your story today, and His final word will always be greater than the opinions of men”.
