“Strong women don’t play the victim” – Bobrisky brags amidst fresh jail terms

Famous controversial Nigerian cross dresser Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky has bragged online as he reportedly faces fresh jail terms.

Bobrisky shared cute photos of himself on his Instagram page dishing out advice to women on how they should be bold and courageous.

Bob who claimed to be a strong woman claimed he doesn’t play the victim. He admonished others to face their battles squarely, not look pitiful and point fingers.

“Strong women don’t play the victim. Don’t make themselves look pitiful and don’t point fingers. They stand and they deal.”

Reactions trailing the post hailed Bobrisky’s resilience and confidence amdist the issues surrounding him.

Days ago, the Nigeria Immigration Service confirmed the arrest of Bobrisky while trying to flee the country.

There have also been speculations that Bob may have issued a fresh jail term if found guilty of the fresh charges against him.

Kemi Filani recalls that Very Dark Man, via his Instagram page, released an audio of Bobrisky, where he alleged that some unnamed EFCC officers collected N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges against him. The crossdresser alleged that a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his son assured him of getting the charges dropped and keeping him out of Prison.

Calling out the rapper, Very Dark Man alleged that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, were the ones behind Bobrisky’s ordeal.

The audio got the crossdresser into trouble as the EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale vowed that the commission’s constituted team of investigators will critically look into the allegations.

UK-based Ugandan model, Eva Apio, has finally addressed her rumoured romantic relationship with Nigerian singer, Asake.


There have been speculations that the duo are dating after they were seen making public appearances and attending multiple events together.

The model clarified via her X handle on Sunday that she is not in a romantic relationship with Asake, while reacting to an earlier post presuming she is the Afrobeats star’s girlfriend.


Sharing one of Asake and Apio’s viral photos, the X user captioned it, “Asake and his Girlfriend (Eva Apio).”

Responding, Apio wrote, “I was never his girlfriend.”

Pasuma escapes as thugs attack convoy in Osun

Tension gripped Ikire, a town in Irewole local government area of Osun State, on Sunday following an attack on the convoy of popular Fuji musician, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma.


The attack, which occurred in the afternoon, involved suspected hoodlums who reportedly stoned and shot at the vehicles in the convoy, including a black Hummer Jeep and a white Hilux truck.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said the vehicles sustained visible damage.


However, it remains unclear whether any member of Pasuma’s team was injured during the incident.

A video that has since gone viral on social media shows a chaotic scene, with people screaming in the background and one voice lamenting in Pidgin English, “Kasala don burst for Ikire. They don attack us. They carry gun shoot us but God dey.”

Efforts by journalists to reach the Fuji musician or his management team for comments were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.


Local residents expressed shock over the incident, which disrupted activities in the area and caused temporary panic among passers-by and business owners.

Pasuma was reportedly in the state for a performance, though the exact details of his visit have not been confirmed.

As at the time of this report, the Osun State Police Command has not released an official statement regarding the attack or whether arrests have been made.

Portable challenges Cubana Chief Priest to a fight

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has challenged socialite Cubana Chief Priest to a boxing match.

In a video captured online, the singer who defeated Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing match said he wants to fight Cubana Chief Priest.


Portable said he bears no grudge or ill feelings towards the socialite but is looking for ways to make more money.

According to him, he wants to fight big people and believes he is bigger than Chief Priest. Portable also revealed he wants to fight Chief Priest because of his financial status.


Making his monetary terms known, he added that he would fight Davido’s best friend for N100 million.

“Hello ladiës and gentlemen, na money I dey look for, I wan fight for money. Chief Priest is who I want to fight with. Igbo man sabi business, Igbo kwenu. I want to fight Chief Priest.

“I want to be fighting big people, I am bigger than Chief Priest. Help me call Chief Priest, he is my fan and brother. I want to fight him because he has money. Chief Priest, did you learn boxing? I want to fight, no be sey I get you for mind. I want to cash money, make we make money together. Them wire me money, also wire you money.

I want to fight Chief Priest N100 million”.
