Published

on

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, and American record producer, ATL Jacob, are at war on social media.

The drama started after ATL Jacob claimed in a recent podcast that Tems was initially adamant about clearing her sample on Future’s ‘Wait For U’ which featured her and Drake.

ATL Jacob, who produced the song, stated that Future had to talk to Drake to use his relationship with Tems to get her to approve the sample.

His claim earned backlash on social media with Tems and her manager also refuting it.

Reacting to the backlash via X, ATL Jacob wrote: “All this negativity coming to me … I got a $100,000 wire transfer for Tems and her team to find me 1 time I spoke negatively about her.”

Replying, Tems offered the American producer $1 million instead, if he would stop “telling lies.”

She wrote, “Its not about saying anything negative. Stop telling lies. I’ll give you 1 million.”

Despite it all, she wouldn’t allow that weigh her down as believes in the saying, “What is mine will never pass her by”.

“I was sent a script by a particular director, I was giving my character name, I already digest this story and put myself in character for month, I canceled my birthday trip for this same job, only to find out they have already started shooting the movie. I laughed and moved on. Weeks later, I got to realize it was a particular person who was really against me that they just not use me, reason best known to her. Because she was close to EP, she was able to manipulate it all.

Note: This is someone I respect so much. Someone who always pretend to love me. Someone who wrote epistle to wish me HBD that same period.

If I was not seen in that character, it’s a different thing, but every other people wanted me but you insisted no. Only you know why cos you gave no reason to them. If you don’t like me show it, avoid me, stop being an hypocrite. Trust me things like this don’t get to me cos I always expect the unexpected. Fake birthday love everywhere. Reason I am never freaked by it, out me on Instagram story and let it go off after 24 hours. I am good or don’t wish me at all if you don’t like me genuinely.

Note this: What’s mine will never pass me by, it can only take time. It has been assigned by God, one mind always help.

I Don’t Serve Marine Spirits, BBNaija Star, Ka3na Responds To Public Backlash

Published

on

A few weeks ago, a video surfaced of BBNaija’s Ka3na performing abolitions in a river, alongside another lady, while wearing a traditional white wrapper, and holding a goat.

This video sparked a lot of controversy online, with a lot of netizens criticizing her for her most of worship.

The reality television star has come out with a response to the backlash she faced from Nigeria.

She first started by comparing her water worship video, with another video from a gospel singer, who went to the riverside to sing Christian music.

Ka3na also said that her fans should tell her difference between her video and that of the gospel singer.

In her caption, Ka3na added that people shouldn’t be quick to criticize what they know nothing about. She also said that she believes in the Alpha and the Omega, but it doesn’t change the fact that she’s a proud marine worshiper.

Ka3na’s fans shared their opinions about both videos, and here’s what they had to say;

kadivest.clothing wrote, “Honestly there were waters on the surface of the earth even before creation and there were powers hovering around the waters! Now water came first, give the waters it’s regard and give God his regard! Which ever you choose do not criticize another for choosing theirs so love it for you”

ayomide_loye wrote, “You can’t serve 2 masters it’s either God or mammon so stop deceiving ur self, you can’t mock God”

domale wrote, “The goat sacrifice is the difference, Christian believe Jesus Christ is a living sacrifice for us.”

pretty_helen_jonah wrote, “The only difference is that, you did sacrifice. while Christians believe that Jesus offer himself as a living sacrifice”

ibadanlawa wrote, “This is so manipulative to be very honest. You sure know that there is a big difference between what you were doing and what the singer was doing. Do what you want in peace don’t try to manipulate gullible people”

amerita wrote, “How do u even compare a true worship to God with your mami water worship?”

tijent_styles wrote, “The difference is clear. Pls don’t be deceived. The former is a Christian but what you are doing is idol worshipping. This post is too immature. There’s no wisdom in it. When Jesus passed through the sea/waters, we know but when people eorship things from waters, we’ll understand. So yours and his doesn’t match. By their fruits, We shall know them”
