Nigerians Not Ready To Vote For APC, PDP In 2023 Election, Says NNPP

Published

on

The New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP says the ruling All Progressives Congress and opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP are jittery over the looming defeat in the coming 2023 General election.

The Jigawa State NNPP gubernatorial candidate, Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim stated this in an interview with BBC Hausa service.

He said he is confident that the electorates would not repeat the previous mistakes and vote for the APC and PDP for their failure to secure the Nation for the past 22 years in power.

“The growing and acceptability of the party and popularity of the candidates in Jigawa State and the country are making the APC and PDP jittering that Nigerians would vote out APC coming general election”

He explained that the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP come into existence to salvage Nigeria from APC and PDP atrocities.

“Our main concern is on how to secure the nation, provide Job opportunities to our teaming youth and boost the economy of our states and the country”

“For example, in Jigawa State we have a comprehensive policy for industrialization, real investors would be invited to invest with high turnover for both the investors and the entire Jigawa people.

” This would no doubt enhance revenue generation for the Government, increase employment to the youth and create enabling environment for unfettered business and commerce which will subsequently help in the security of the state”

He noted that the party is committed and fully prepared to take power in the coming 2023 general election in the state and the country.

Ringim, however, urged the party’s supporters to remain committed to ensuring the unity of the party ahead of the 2023 general election.

World Cup: My Son Wept After Argentina’s Defeat To Saudi Arabia – Messi

Published

Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, has revealed that his son, Mateo, immediately started crying after his side’s World Cup 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia last week.

Recall that Saudi Arabia came from a goal down to beat Argentina on November 22.

Speaking after Argentina’s World Cup 2-0 win against Mexico over the weekend, Messi said via Mirror, “Mateo left the stadium crying after the first game (vs Saudi Arabia) and Thiago came out counting telling me that if we won both games we would qualify.

“My family suffers the same as all Argentines but we’re happy and we get comfortable again because now our progress depends on us.”

Messi will now hope to lead Argentina to victory when they face Poland on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Messi’s agent, Marcelo Mendez, has played down speculation his client is on the verge of joining Inter Miami when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next summer.

Reports had emerged that Messi, who inspired Argentina to beat Mexico 2-0 in a World Cup tie last weekend, would leave PSG on a free transfer.

Reacting to the speculation, Mendez branded the rumours ‘fake news’.

“It’s false,” Mendez told CNN when asked about the reports. “It’s fake news.

“There is no negotiation for Lionel to join Inter Miami next season.”
