Man Utd In ‘Real Fight’ For Top-Four Finish After Newcastle Win – Carragher

Published

on

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has said Newcastle’s last-gasp win over Nottingham Forest on Friday has pulled Manchester United into a “real fight” for top four places.

Alexander Isak scored twice as the Magpies battled to a 2-1 win at Forest.

The result sees them move to within three points of third-placed United.

After the international week, Newcastle play United at St James’ Park.

“I think for a long time we’ve felt that United were guaranteed to be in the top four – Gary Neville went as far to say they would finish second.

“But now it looks like they’re in a real fight now to be in the top four, especially with Newcastle playing Manchester United next,” Carragher told Sky Sports.

Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr rivals, Al-Hilal, where Odion Ighalo plays currently, are keen on landing Messi and may make a move for Neymar if they fail to lure the Argentine to Saudi Arabia. While Neymar is not currently interested in leaving PSG, he may consider an offer.

Meanwhile, Ramos is reportedly negotiating a potential move to Al Nassr.

Paris Saint-Germain’s willingness to listen to offers for some of their top players has raised eyebrows, and the club will have to navigate the summer transfer market carefully.

However, their efforts to encourage players to move to Saudi Arabia could provide an opportunity for some players to pursue a new challenge
