Laycon And Vee Set To Release A New Banger Soon

BBNaija star, Laycon, has asked his fans and social media users to anticipate his upcoming song featuring his colleague, Vee.

In a video sighted on his social media page, he mentioned that the song is going to be part Vee’s upcoming EP titled Young and Reckless.

Vee also stated that the song is amazing hence, fans should anticipate it.

Laycon said;

“We actually have a song coming up on Vee’s EP, Young and Reckless. You should see me in a different dimension than I do normally”.

On March 10, 2021, Laycon released two singles – Wagwan and Fall For Me (ft YKB). On the 1st of April 2021, he announced that he will be dropping his first album on the 30th of April 2021.

” Laycon’s Album ‘Shall We Begin’ was released and the album has gone on to chart in over 30 countries and counting.

Actress Hilda Dokubo has shared her insights following Junior Pope’s untimely passing.

Taking to Instagram, she expressed that his death was an avoidable one and that the right thing that should have been done was to have provided life jackets for all the parties involved.

She went on to call out the movie producer, AdanmaLuke, for not providing life jackets for all of the actors involved.

Now, also recall that movie producer Adama Luke had broken her silence about the incident two days ago.

She had taken to Instagram to express that she was completely broken about the unfortunate incident.

She further disclosed that the entire incident has left her traumatized as she finds herself blaming herself for returning to Asaba.

She went on to reveal that life jackets had been provided for Junior Pope.

However, they had rejected the life jackets. She also stated that she was supposed to be amongst one of the people on the boat.

Now, recall that last Wednesday, Kemi Filani had reported that Junior Pope had died after drowning. While he was returning from a location at Anam River in Anambra State.

Actress Sarah Martins had also taken to social media to drag the movie producer Adanma Luke.

She described the actress’s movie as a low-budget movie while trying to advise Nollywood producers to do better.

However, she was berated by some of the actors and her senior colleagues, which led to her tendering an apology.

Caroline Celico, the former wife of Brazilian football icon, Ricardo Kaka, has debunked recent speculations surrounding the cause of their separation.

Against circulating reports suggesting that she left Kaka due to his perceived perfection, Celico clarified that their separation was based on mutual agreement.

The couple, who tied the knot in December 2005, shares two children: Luca Celico Leite, born on June 10, 2008, and Isabella Celico Leite, born on April 23, 2011.


Despite their divorce ten years into their marriage, Celico stressed their continued partnership in nurturing their children.

Their decision to part ways, undisclosed until now, garnered attention following the circulation of a purported quote attributed to Celico.

In response, she addressed the misinformation, shedding light on the genuine nature of their separation.

The chef and food content creator wrote, “For those who haven’t heard from me for a long time… or have never heard before.

“And are UNFORTUNATELY hearing some fake news and FAKE quotes. Let me update you:

“I got divorced almost 10 years ago, from those 14 years of relationship there are 2 lovely teenagers.

“It’s been almost 8 years. I am with my husband Eduardo, and we are having our first child next month.

“I have a lot of respect for my lifetime story, and I am very grateful for everything I have lived so far. My ex-husband and I found a healthy way to raise our children, and I’m so grateful for this.

Sensuous Jazz Singer, Yinka Davies, To Serenade Guests At Rotary Media Awards

On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, Yinka Davies, frontline vocalist, lyricist and dancer will be the guest performing artiste at Rotary International District 9110 Humanitarian Reporting Awards (RHRA) that will be held at The Rotary Centre, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

Yinka is also a voice coach and versatile actress who performs with nuance. She promised the organisers of the event to entertain Rotarians and their guests in her inimitable style.

Rotarian Ifeyinwa Ejezie, district governor of Rotary International, District 9110, says she looks forward to Yinka’s enthralling performance as the District celebrates the media for promoting clubs and the district’s humanitarian intervention projects and activities in Lagos and Ogun States.

“The awards are aimed at recognising and honouring media organisations and journalists for their support of Rotary, the world’s largest humanitarian service organisation,” says Ejezie.

The Chairman of the Humanitarian Reporting Awards Committee in the District, Rotarian Ehi Braimah, stated that the “awards would be presented in 10 out of 14 categories to media organisations and journalists, as well as Rotary Clubs and Rotarians.”

The categories and nominees include: Best TV Station (Arise News, Channels TV and TVC); Best Newspaper (The Guardian, ThisDay and New Telegraph); Best Online Newspaper (Legend News online, Brand Times and NewsSpy Online), and Best TV Station in Online Reporting (NTA, Arise News and TVC).

Other nominees are Outstanding Journalist (TVC’s Theophilus Elamah, Mosunmola Ogeolu of Arise News and Eniola Popoola of TVC); Outstanding Print Reporter (The Nation’s Joseph Eshanokpe, The Guardian’s Isaac Taiwo and New Telegraph’s Tony Okuyeme); Outstanding Club Public Image Chair (Rotarian Ifeoma Williams – Rotary Club of Lagos; Rotarian Oyinlola Sale – Rotary Club of Akowonjo and Rotarian B. Adesan – Rotary Club of Ajah Golden).

According to the Vice Chairman of the Awards Committee, Rotarian Olalekan Otun, the former Governor of Ogun State, who is also doyen of Nigerian journalism, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, is the Chairman of the awards ceremony, while the Provost of Nigerian institute of Journalism, Mr. Gbenga Adefaye, will deliver the keynote.
The high-profile guest list also includes Dr. John Momoh, Chairman/CEO of Channels TV Media Group and former Minister of Health and Past District Governor, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, as Special Guests of Honour.
