“If you talk to someone, they exploit your problems” – Uzee Usman laments bitterly against betrayal from close allies

Published

Nollywood actor Uzee Usman has cried out against the betrayals from close allies on social media.

He shared a post on … in which he discussed how everyone is always after their selfish interests without caring for others, saying everyone is on their own irrespective of their challenges.

Uzee Usman lamented bitterly about how those whom many see as confidants turn out to be betrayals by exploiting their problems and how one cannot be quiet in suffering.

Noting that most people pretend to care during any challenges, the actor asked his followers if they care.

He wrote, “In the end, nobody cares. Whatever you’re going through, you’re on your own. If you talk to someone, they exploit your problems. If you don’t, you suffer in silence. People pretend to care, but they really don’t. Do you?”

Sometime in February, Uzee Usman warned ungrateful people who kept demanding money to fund their lifestyles.

The actor made this post on Instagram, begging those troubling him for money to stop because it was getting out of hand. He stated that he has burdens to cater to and is not responsible for anyone’s failure.

Uzee Usman strictly admonished his followers not to respect themselves and cut their coats according to size, urging them not to get married when they don’t have the money.

Tagging the beggars as useless and ungrateful people, Uzee Usman asked them to work and earn a living.

‎I Admitted To Cheating On Will Smith To Protect His Ego – Jada Pinkett

Published

on

‎American actress and celebrity Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that her public admission of her “entanglement” with singer August Alsina was a strategic move to protect Will Smith’s ego and shield their family from prolonged scrutiny.

‎While promoting her memoir, “I am, You are, We are, Worthy!”, Pinkett Smith explained that she consciously chose to shoulder the public’s judgment to help her husband process the situation at the time.

‎“So if I got to look like the adulterous wife to make sure you’re good, I’m gonna do it,” she stated, reflecting on the moment she decided to prioritise his well-being over her own image.

‎The actress admitted that she had previously struggled to balance self-preservation with her commitment to her husband.

‎“I learned how to love myself and not leave Will on the side of the road. And I hadn’t learned how to love Will and not leave myself on the side of the road,” she explained.

‎Feeling a sense of responsibility for the predicament their family faced, she opted to play the role of the villain to bring the conversation to a close.

‎“Okay, I’m the bad guy. I’m the worst. Great. Let’s be done with it. I wanted it done… Let’s be done. And let’s move on.”

‎This new context sheds light on the couple’s infamous 2020 Red Table Talk episode, which preceded the high-tension 2022 Oscars incident where Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage.

‎Pinkett Smith emphasised that the experience was a major learning moment about the complexities of their relationship.

‎Despite the global controversy and public perception of their marriage, she maintains that these open discussions were part of a personal growth journey aimed at finding a way for the couple to be on the road together as life partners.

Nigerian Artists Hide Their Real Ages to Get Record Deals — Odumodublvck

Popular rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, has claimed that many Nigerian musicians lie about their age to help their careers.

During a live chat with a streamer named Enzo, the rapper explained that artists often reduce their ages to look more attractive to record labels and international brands.

According to him, these companies usually prefer to work with younger artists who fit a certain image.

Odumodublvck, 32, stated that he is not worried about his age and is proud of his success.

He noted that many investors in the music industry are afraid to invest in older artists, which forces many singers to change their birth years to secure partnership deals.

“I am 32, and I don’t bother myself about getting things right at this age,” he said.

He added that while he chooses to be honest, the pressure to look younger is a major issue in the industry.

Nigerian men scared of bold, confident women – Phyna claims

Published

Former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has claimed that she is still single because Nigerian men are scared of confident and independent women.

Speaking during a recent livestream on Twitch, the reality star claimed that most Nigerian men prefer women they can control when choosing a life partner and avoid independent women.

Phyna explained that expressive women like her are the worse hits because most men judge them by their social media rhetoric and decide to avoid them even before meeting them.

The actress said she is, however, not bothered by the trend, stressing that she can’t change herself to fit into a man’s expectations.

“I am a ten over ten. The thing is just that men are scared of bold and confident women. There are someone women that by mere looking at them you know that you can’t control them. But our Nigerian men like women that they can control.

“They don’t want women who have says or are exposed. So, we that are very loud about how we are, even without they meeting us, they are already scared and forming assumptions. But I really don’t care,” she expressed.
