I took loan of N5m to get into BBNaija – Faith breaks silence after disqualification
Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has spoken publicly for the first time since his dramatic disqualification from the reality TV show earlier in October.
In a four-minute monologue video shared on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old doctor opened up about his experience on the show, the challenges he faced and his renewed outlook on life.
Faith, who was disqualified following a physical altercation during the BBNaija ‘10/10’ edition, began the video with a reflective tone.
“Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him. So listen carefully,” he said.
Recounting how his Big Brother journey began, Faith revealed that it all started with a text message that changed the course of his life.
“On March 5, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed,” he said.
He revealed that after returning to Nigeria in December 2024, he felt uncertain about his future as a medical doctor but decided to audition for Big Brother Naija.
“I was pissed, like what am I going to do in this country as a doctor. But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality. I took a loan of N5million and somehow I made it.” He recounted.
Reflecting on his stay in the house, Faith admitted to moments of emotional struggle and imperfection.
He also revealed that he had asked for professional mental health support multiple times during the show.
“I wasn’t perfect, I made a lot of mistakes, I was overwhelmed and isolated. I requested to see a therapist more than three times because I knew I needed help,” he added.
Despite his disqualification, Faith expressed deep appreciation for his fans, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout his time in the competition.
“Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’ve never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me in that house. They didn’t see perfection, they saw Faith, a flawed but passionate man,” he said.
Looking ahead, the former housemate said he feels renewed and ready to take on new challenges.
Faith concluded the emotional video with a bold declaration to his supporters and the entertainment industry
“This is Faith Adewale, the dreamer, the doctor, the creator, the entertainer, your latest reality TV star. I’m ready to make magic with you all,” he added.

I don’t supply drugs to Regina Daniels – Actress Uche Montana, denies allegations
Nollywood actress, Uche Montana, has denied the speculation making the rounds that she was involved in the reported drug crisis surrounding actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Montana, in a statement on her Instagram page on Monday, addressed the accusations a few days after Nwoko, in a lengthy Facebook post, named Regina’s close friends and relatives, including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana, as allegedly undermining his wife’s rehabilitation process.
Nwoko had claimed that the individuals in question repeatedly ignored doctors’ orders to restrict access to Regina during therapy and would “bring her the same drugs she was being treated for.”
Reacting to the allegation, Montana said, “My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims.
“For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”
Her rebuttal is coming as the controversy surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage to Nwoko continues to intensify.
Recall that two weeks earlier, Regina had alleged in a viral video that she was a victim of domestic abuse, describing herself as a “slave” in her husband’s home.
Nwoko, however, dismissed the allegations, insisting that his wife was battling “drug and alcohol addiction” and accusing her of physically assaulting domestic workers.

‘African Queen’ gave me fame, but also trouble — 2Face
Legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has described his hit song African Queen as both a blessing and a burden in his decades-long career.
Speaking on the Entertainment & Lifestyle show which started trending on Sunday, the veteran artiste said the 2004 classic gave his career its defining spark, even though it has also brought him several challenges over the years.
He said, “That song has been a very huge blessing and e don turn to problem join for me, you know, but Like I said earlier, I’m grateful for everything.
Reflecting on his career, 2Face said while African Queen remains his most iconic song, he has created many other works that fans deeply connect with.
“There are so many other songs I have that are brilliant, and many people resonate with them too,” he said.
The song, released in 2004 as part of his debut solo album Face 2 Face, catapulted 2Face to international fame and cemented his status as one of Africa’s biggest music exports.
However, the song’s legacy has been trailed by controversy, with his former Plantashun Boiz bandmate, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, repeatedly accusing him of stealing the song.
2Face has consistently denied the claim, saying African Queen was a collaborative effort during their band days and not an act of theft.
The long-running debate resurfaced in August 2025 after Billboard named African Queen the ‘Greatest Afrobeats Song of All Time’.
