Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has written a note to her late mother following her fight with Phyna.

It was reported on Thursday, October 1st, that Nkechi and Phyna held their highly anticipated boxing match at Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

After hours of exchanging blows, Phyna defeated Nkechi and won a brand-new car and N50 million.

Speaking out after the fight, she said she was still a champion regardless of the result. Nkechi added that even blind people know the winner.

Sharing a photo of the movie star, she noted that she has never raised her hands to fight anyone, but on Thursday, she stood on an unfamiliar stage with courage and fought like a warrior.

Nkechi thanked her mother for raising a Queen, a fighter, and an unstoppable child of grace. She described the fight as a great experience, one she would repeat.

“AFIANMA…..Your precious child was on a boxing ring for the first time in all my years on earth. I have never raised my hands to fight any soul. Still, yesterday I stood on an unfamiliar stage with just one thing: COURAGE, and in front of millions of people I fought like a warrior. Mummy, your daughter did not win, but her fight won’t leave millions’ mouths in a hurry.
Mama, thank you for raising a strong woman, a fighter and an unstoppable child of grace…It was indeed a great experience , even after training for just two days…Will I do this again? OH YES, I did. Did I make you proud? Mummy w,ere you watching? Did you also hear when they played your favourite song? I wanted you around; that was why I asked for that song…Jennifer was even crying before I entered the ring. The world is proud of me right now, and I am sure you are too.
Rest in peace, mummy.
I love you forever.
Big shout out to @balmoralpromotions @bet9jaig for this experience; I will never forget in a hurry”.

On Mother’s Day, the curvy actress shared an AI-generated video of her late mother, stating that she would never be forgotten. She said the deceased would always be in her heart and wished her a heavenly Mother’s Day.

Last year, NBS remembered her late mother during her tough times. The mother of one said there was no one to call her each time she found herself on the blogs, reminding her of how strong she is. She told her late mother to never stop watching over her.

On her mother’s 3rd remembrance, Nkechi penned an emotional note, revealing that it is really hard without her, and vowed to remember her for the rest of her life.

In a follow-up post, she promised to make her mother proud, as she appreciated her for all the teachings and for making her the strong woman she is today.

To celebrate her, NBS gave out foodstuffs to the less privileged.

Nigerian singer, Mayorkun has warned emerging artistes against adopting a mysterious public image like that of his colleague, Wizkid, without first establishing themselves in the music industry.

The singer advised upcoming musicians to focus on building their careers and connecting with fans rather than attempting to imitate the approach of established stars.

According to Mayorkun, “trying to maintain a mysterious image like Wizkid as a newcomer could cause you to fade into obscurity”.

He suggested that upcoming artistes need to make themselves visible and build a solid fan base before considering such an approach.

Wizkid, one of Nigeria’s most prominent Afrobeats stars, is known for maintaining a relatively private lifestyle, with limited public appearances outside music-related activities.
