I Don’t Mind If Burna Boy Is Arrogant – Burna Boy’s Mother Proudly Says

The mother and manager of Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy, Bose Ogulu has commented on her son’s arrogance.

A few days ago, some social media users dragged Burna Boy into the mud and called him arrogant.

Burna Boy has been tagged as arrogance. This comment from Bose Ogulu, mother of Burna Boy comes after legendary singer Angelique Kidjo urged the public to leave Burna Boy alone.

In an interview, legendary singer Angelic Kidjo stood by Burna Boy when she was asked about the “unapologetic behavior” of Burna Boy.

She said Burna should be left alone. “If it was an African American that had that attitude, nobody will say anything about it. You leave my boy alone” she said.

Speaking to Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin Minds, Mrs. Ogulu says that she is not bothered that her son is being seen as arrogant.

“Do you mind that he is seen as arrogant, do you mind that you are seen as arrogant with the way you run the Burna brand” Ebuka questioned.

“I don’t mind honestly, to answer that clearly, I don’t mind”, she responded. Defending her son, she said that there are two types of arrogance. Where she explained that one type is “knowing your worth” and carrying yourself as such and if that is what her son is, then she does not see that as a problem”.

Mohbad has been dead for close to a year now, but the controversies surrounding his death keeps unraveling every now and then.

In a recent development, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo made a post on Instagram, saying that Mohbad’s mother reached out to her that she was scared for her safety.

“i received a distress call from Mama Mohbad in the earlier hours of today concerning her safety, and this brought a lot of sadness to my heart, even though i have tried to step aside from #justiceformohbad

I can’t ignore this cry for help, i feel it is hightime the right authorities waged in on this matter before things begin to get messy, if it’s not already getting out of hands……. I believe

We have laws in this country, and i believe every Nigerian is allowed to feel safe in the confines of their own homes. To our able Governor Babajide Sanwolu sir, Nigeria police force, @adejobimuyiwa, and all the concerned citizens…

please this has to stop, this woman lost her dear son and i feel it is only fair we allow her mourn her son in peace and not in pieces, Mohbad has still not been buried, that alone is traumatizing enough

And now stalking, harassment, bullying and dehumanizing Mohbad’s mother should not be allowed. This has got to stop”

“I Am Humbled” – Chief Priest Brags As He Regains Freedom

Celebrity barman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest has bragged online following his release from the EFCC’s custody today.

Earlier today, Chief Priest was arraigned by the EFCC over the charge of Naira mutilation apmongst others.

Recall that EFCC filed a three-count charge against thep businessman for spraying and tampering with the naira at a social event contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

Pascal arrived before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos on Wednesday morning, April 17th, 2024, and pleaded not guilty to the charges of naira abuse. While being arraigned in court this morning, his counsel, Chukwusolo Onukwi opposed the charges filed against him by the EFCC. He had also filed a bail application which has been granted by the judge.

He was granted bale with a fine of ten million naira.

Sharing a photo of himself after release, Cubana Chief Priest appreciated this who have been checking on him since the time he was arrested, saying their messages and love made him humble.

He also bragged about being famous with claims that money is water

E-Money Pledges To Nurture Junior Pope’s Children As He Mourns Late Actor

Popular businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-Money, has promised to take care of the children of late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope.

Recall that Junior Pope and three others lost their lives after their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie location.

Mourning the late actor, E-Money disclosed that Junior Pope’s last words were about his commitment to train his three sons.


He pledged to fulfil the late actor’s wish by taking over the responsibility for his kids.

On his Instagram page, he wrote: “It has been one week since you departed from this world, leaving behind a profound sense of loss that reverberates not only among us but also across Africa and beyond.

“Your presence, as both a friend and a brother, is deeply missed, JP. The weight of your absence bears heavily upon our hearts, yet we draw comfort from the belief that God will grant us the resilience to carry forward and uphold the legacy you’ve entrusted to us.

“We tenderly remember your final words on the boat, ‘Na only me dem born, I get 3 children na me go raise them,’ and we solemnly commit to honoring that vow.

“Your children now find solace in the embrace of the Okonkwo family, and we, as members of that family, pledge to nurture them as you would have wished. Your absence leaves a palpable void, JP, and your memory will forever be held dear. Rest peacefully, knowing that you are deeply cherished, and may God’s blessings encompass your soul, your family, and all who hold you in their hearts.”
