She noted how God kept her reputation on the line to save her from wrong choices and for finally making it all beautiful in his time. She also noted how He gave her a beautiful daughter to Shepherd.

Toke said she learnt in gratitude that one finds who one is in Christ. She further said that she had learned the type of love that she had searched for all her life.

“On the last Sunday of 2025, I really just want to thank you, Jesus, for not holding anything back from me, for giving me a year that only you could have seen me through, for putting your own reputation on the line to save me from wrong choices and for finally making it all beautiful in your time.
The wait is never in vain.
I learnt in gratitude that you find who you are in Christ. I learnt the type of love that I’ve searched for all my life: that God loved me first, and it is not a performative kind of love. I did nothing to earn it; I couldn’t even earn it if I tried.
God wants the best for me.

Then you gave me this precious gift to Shepherd, you truly have the greatest sense of humour. It has been leading up to 5 months, and she is teaching me about faith, patience, and the best kind of Love.

I told God I wanted to end the year 2025 saying, “What a difference a year can make,” and boy, he did it.
I manifested it

Roll on 26, I’m excited for all that you’ve got planned for us.
Thankful Sunday.

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has knocked parents who kiss their kids’ mouths.

In her Instagram story, she admonished parents to stop such behaviour, describing it as old-fashioned. She questioned what happened to the cheek.

Angela noted how they’re kids and don’t need to be infected by their parents. She further noted that people kiss their mother on the mouth and also kiss their father on the mouth.

“Stop kissing your kid’s mouth to mouth! Haaa
What happened to the cheek, Kwanu?
They are kids; they don’t need your infected mouth, please.
Kiss them on the cheek,
People will kiss their mother’s mouth to mouth
Kiss your father’s mouth to mouth
Wetin happened to cheek
Oh Jesus
Una dey vex me for this app. Abi, am I old-fashioned?
Why mouth-to-mouth kwanu?”.

When former OAP Toolz welcomed her child, she pleaded with Nigerians not to kiss her baby.

Similarly, comedian Ayo Makun’s ex-wife, Mabel Makun, questioned if it was appropriate for a person to kiss a baby that does not belong to them.

In other news, Angela had advocated for setting boundaries and protecting one’s peace. She admonished the public to be very choosy and particular about whom they invite into their life.

In a message to her fans, last year, the actress and singer told them to spice up their lives irrespective of where they are in life. She admonished them to never give someone the satisfaction of watching them suffer as she stated that one’s greatest investment is in themselves.

Last year, Angela sent a deep message to her millions of followers about being good and kind. She admonished them never to regret being a good person to the wrong people, as one’s kindness shows everything about them, and their behaviour says everything about them.

In another post, she told her fans to allow people to judge, misunderstand, and gossip about them, and remain kind, and free in their authenticity. She said that the quality of one’s life isn’t determined by the quality of their positive experiences but by their ability to overcome negative experiences.

Famous Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, has finally secured the release of TikToker, Eedie Bliss, from detention.

Eedie Bliss regained her freedom on Saturday, January 17, 2026, after Mercy Johnson dropped all charges against her following public outcry on social media platforms.

The development came hours after popular social media critic, VeryDarkMan, dragged the actress and accused her of oppression, noting that defamation is a civil case.

Joining other Nigerians in seeking her release from police detention, VeryDarkMan issued an ultimatum to the actress.

A few hours later, VeryDarkMan announced the TikTok creator’s release.

He wrote on his Instagram page: “@MercyJohnsonOkojie, thank you very much, my GREATEST OF ALL TIME, for dropping the case. Moving on, I am buying all defamation cases against Mercy Johnson and her family. The bullying is too much. You all should leave her family alone.”

Recall that Eedie Bliss was arrested some days ago over a video she shared on TikTok in December 2025 about Mercy Johnson and her husband, Prince Henry Okojie.

In the video, the TikTok star alleged that Prince Okojie recently bought a house for his pregnant mistress.

Quoting Cutie Juls as her source, Eedie Bliss further claimed that the actress allegedly connived with the mistress’ house help to cause her miscarriage.
