‘Fela died early for not minding his business’ – Portable

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable has blamed the late Afrobeats pioneer and activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, for his own death.

Portable shaded Fela during his latest podcast with media personality, Quincy Jonze on the ‘Echoo Room’.

In a now trending interview on social media, the singer insisted that Fela died early because he did not mind his business.


Also, reacting to his online feud with rapper Zlatan Ibile, Portable referred to him as the devil who caused the misunderstanding between him and Davido.

“According to what we were told, if Fela had minded his business a little he would have lived longer. But he was busy fighting for Nigerians wey no fight for their selves.

“I was in America looking for foreign artistes. I was busy displaying my madness online when Davido called me to come. Me and Davido did not quarrel until when the devil Zlatan came.”

Nigerian comedienne Anita Asuoha better known as Warri Pikin and her husband are expecting their third child.

The comedienne made the good news known on her Instagram page to celebrate Father’s Day. Warri shared an adorable video of her protruding baby bump, her husband and their three kids. She stated that saying yes to him was her best decision. She noted how, in choosing him, she gave her children the best father.

The comedienne praised her husband for being loving, caring, steady, strong, super supportive and fiercely committed to family and most of all, God. She described her husband as the type of man who makes parenting look like purpose.

“One of the best decisions I’ve made in life was saying ‘yes’ to my husband.
Because in choosing him, I didn’t just get the most loving partner, I gave my children the best father.

Ex-girlfriend reacts as Diamond Platnumz marries signee, Zuchu

Zari Hasan, a popular Ugandan socialite and former girlfriend of Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz, has reacted to his marriage.

Recall that the singer tied the knot with Zuchu, his record label’s singer, on June 1 2025 in a low key ceremony.

Reacting to the wedding in viral video on social media, the singer’s ex-girlfriend and socialite, Zari Hasan, who revealed that she left because of Platnumz’s cheating habits, commended Zuchu’s strength in dealing with his antics.


Speaking during an interview with AyoTV, she said, “Zuchu wins girlfriend award of the year. She is strong. We could not do it. I hope Platnumz treats her better now because she’s a wife now.

“Let him change, it would be really nice. That guy is pulling out a lot of shit.”

I lost my memory after the accident – Lekan Olatunji

Nollywood actor, Lekan Olatunji has revealed he once lost his memory after surviving a life threatening accident.

In a recent interview with Celebrity Gists, Olatunji recalled that he spent three months in the hospital while undergoing treatment.

The actor revealed that, in addition to undergoing multiple surgeries, he was also struggling with memory loss.

“There’s was a time I had an accident and it wasn’t easy. I was in the hospital for three months with memory loss. So I thank God for his grace,” he said.

He also expressed great gratitude and commended the doctors for a job well done while also thanking God for sparing his life.

“Here I am doing well, we should give the doctors their own praise and God his glory.

“Even my doctors friend were shocked and said they wouldn’t believe me if they hadn’t seen me. They saw my skull because I went through a series of surgeries. But I thank God because it wasn’t easy,” he said.
