on

Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted after his colleague, Portable, called him out for allegedly giving him ‘bad advice’ during their recent dinner in the United States.

Recall that Portable recently lamented that Davido, who signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and urged him to sign with Empire instead.

The ‘Zazu’ crooner alleged foul play, saying he is also aiming for a Grammy like Davido yet the DMW boss is asking him to join a label that might not influence the award for him.

Davido has now reacted by unfollowing Portable on Instagram.

A visit to their respective Instagram accounts on Thursday evening confirmed that the DMW boss has now unfollowed Portable.

Portable had earlier raised the alarm that some people were trying to pit Davido against him.

According to him, people have been “pushing” him to fight with Davido but he refused because the DMW boss has helped him in the past

“I have given out millions without a single soul knowing” – Bimbo Ademoye

Published

on

Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has released a statement addressing those attacking her over her giveaways.

The movie star, via her Instagram page, said some people were reaching out to her in her DMs, calling her giveaways fake and hurling insults.

Bimbo made it clear that she doesn’t do well with disrespect in any form.

The AMVCA-winning actress noted that she has given away millions without anyone knowing and admonished trolls not to play with her.

Cautioning them, Bimbo stressed that she is just one person and can’t satisfy everyone’s desire.

“While I understand that the economy is tough and a lot of us need money, I also understand that you guys love me dearly and have poured that love into watching this movie (I mean, I could never get 10 million views in 10 days on my own ), so you feel you deserve the giveaway more than the next person. I need you to understand that I’m only one person; there are 5.1 million of you here! If I could, I’d give every single one of my followers the money without stress, but that would be a total of 510 billion naira! I no get, my papa no get, my forefathers no get! I’m only doing the little I can from MY POCKET! So, for some of you to attack me, screaming favouritism when I ensure my friends and family don’t participate in my giveaways so it doesn’t look like I’m biased, some people even came to my dm recently saying my giveaways are fake, hurling insults at me, one even called me “stingy goat”. I think that’s out of line! I do not do well with disrespect at all, public figure or no public figure; I do not appreciate disrespect in any way, shape or form. We might kiki, catch a cruise and all, but when you cross the line, I can be petty enough to find you, then we can handle it one-on-one! Pls let’s be guided! LET US ALL BE GUIDED! I’ve given out millions without a single soul knowing. This giveaway is to give back to my people and have fun while at it. Pls DO NOT play with me!! I have never, in my life, met or known anyone who has won my giveaway before they won it. Not once! Caution guys! Caution!
Anyways, congratulations to @datsweetclassybae. Pls send your details for the 200k and a Winston Leather bag. You won the last question.

NEXT QUESTION for 100k and a @gbemisokeshoes bag! What designer inspired this braided tie? And what’s the significant difference in this outfit? Look closely, it’s NOT THE HAIR NOR THE BAG!”

Popular Nigerian comedian, I Go Save, has reacted to former Big Brother Naija reality show contestant, Angel Smith’s marital crisis.

Recall that Angel a few days ago married Tumininu, her female partner in the United States.

Less than two weeks into the marriage, Tumininu called Angel out over infidelity. Alleging that Angel is cheating on her with another woman she met on a dating app.

The development has sparked public criticism, with many Nigerians condemning Angel’s mother for giving out her daughter in a same-sex marriage.

Reacting on his insta story, he applauded men for their ability to tolerate women’s behavior in marriage.

He wrote; “Men are really trying when it comes to marriage matters! A woman got married to another woman, and the marriage didn’t even last 70 hours. She couldn’t handle what the other woman was doing.”
