“Dating a narcissist is the worst thing that could happen to someone” -Ashabi

Published

on

Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi, has studied the internet with photos of herself dressed like a mad woman ahead of her birthday.

According to her, the photos reflect what life showed her in her late 20s and how life wanted her to look, but God said no. The upcoming actress expressed gratitude to her Maker for strength and grace, as it could have been worse.

Ashabi also appreciated her family for not leaving her through thick and thin, and for trying not to let her fall into depression.

The Yoruba actress described the internet as a platform where people judge her according to their own perspective, forgetting that even if they wear the same shoe size, it will fit differently.

Speaking about her career, Ashabi said she worked hard for years behind the camera, building her name as a filmmaker and script supervisor. Sleepless nights, brainstorming, hard work, and consistency were how she first gained recognition.

The movie star also spoke about her love life, describing Portable as a narcissist. She noted how one can’t predict his next move, especially when he is the jealous type and has anger issues. She said she wakes up every day of her life thinking of how best she can manage him.

“Hmmmm, this is an example of what life shows me in my late 20s, and how life wants me to look, but thank GOD for the strength and grace because it could be worse than this, but GOD didn’t leave me a bit.

Thanks to my families who didn’t leave me through thick & thin, trying not to let me be depressed and thank GOD I’ve never be and I will never be by GOD grace.
Do people know not wanting to think about some particular things/situation is worse than thinking, and crying it out ? I’m telling you for free that it is.
Sometimes you just have to cry it out & let go.

Internet: smiles, a platform where people judge others according to their own perspective, forgetting that even if we wear the same shoe size, it will fit differently. Blame is easy, understanding is wiser.

My carrier: I worked so hard for years behind d camera building my name as a filmmaker and a script supervisor, sleepless nights, brain storming, hardwork and consistency was how goggle recognized my name at first,” Ashabi simple” life happened, sudden change that made me switch to a full time actor, it wasn’t easy at all, I shot many movies with my hard earned money which Didn’t yield well.
I started calculating loss than gain, and this drained me financially, mentally & physically.

Home: dating a narcissist is the worst thing that could happen to someone; you can’t predict their next move, especially when he’s a jealous type and has an anger issue. I wake up every day of my life thinking of how best to manage this soul, how can u be a liar & manipulator.
Love is a beautiful thing, but loving someone who sees you as a competitor or who doesn’t want your growth, who supports you with their mouth but not their heart, is the opposite. Now, it’s complicated how you think on a daily basis about what to do next, like leaving. Will there be a breakthrough? Stay ? Can it ever get better? What if it get worsen? It’s complicated again when children are involve and you’re open to different people advice.

GOD, this new age I’m about to start, make it a new phrase, help me, see through my heart and heal me, I’m going 2ru alot physically, spiritually, mentally, financially & psychologically come through for me oh lord”.

“God’s Plans Cannot Be Derailed By Human Opinions” — Mercy Johnson

Published

on

Nigerian actress and film director Mercy Johnson-Okojie has shared a message on faith and God’s grace. In a lengthy Instagram post, she said God does not judge people the way humans do.

The actress said God can restore what others reject and redeem what others condemn. She added that when one door closes, God can create new opportunities where none seem possible.

Johnson stressed that God’s mercy and blessings are not determined by public opinion. She described Him as a God of second chances, fresh beginnings and unexpected favour.

She also encouraged her followers to remain faithful and grateful. According to her, true peace comes from trusting God rather than seeking approval from others. She added that people’s opinions cannot stop God’s purpose, and His plans will always prevail.

She wrote: “God is not a man. He does not judge as men judge, nor does he bow to the opinions, mockery, or decisions of people. What men reject, God can restore. What men condemn, God can redeem. When others close doors, God can open windows no one knew existed. His mercy is not limited by human understanding, and His blessings are not controlled by human approval.

“He is the God of second chances, fresh starts, and unexpected favour. He lifts whom He chooses, blesses whom He wills, and writes stories that leave even doubters speechless.

“One of the greatest forms of peace is arriving at a place where you no longer crave to be understood, admired, pitied, or even liked by everyone.

“True peace comes when your confidence is rooted in God, not in people’s opinions. When you stop seeking validation from the world, you begin to experience the freedom that comes from knowing whose own you are.

“Let people talk. Let them misunderstand. Let them mock if they choose. Human conversations never cancel God’s plans. His purpose for your life does not require public approval. Stay faithful. Stay grateful. Stay at peace.

“The same God who brought you through yesterday is still writing your story today, and His final word will always be greater than the opinions of men”.
