“Why I wouldn’t forgive Wole Soyinka, Obasanjo and Gani Adams for killing our boys” – Brymo vents as he speaks on cultism in Nigerian Universities

Published

on

Nigerian singer Brymo has vented at Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka and others over cultism in Nigeria.

In social media posts, he accused the Nobel winner, former president Olusegun Obasanjo and Gani Adams of having a role in the history and spread of secret cults in Nigerian Universities.

In a direct attack on Soyinka, he challenged him to address the origins of secret societies in Nigerian Universities and questioned his legacy. He argued that Soyinka should speak about the activities of these groups and their consequences on Nigerian students.

He noted that he is the one who fell, and that his statement might make him a target, but he would rather get wealthier.

Calling Wole a violent man, he said he wouldn’t forgive the trio for the killing of boys. He mentioned how Fela Kuti tried to protect young people, while Soyinka and his cousin were killing everyone else.

“I am the one who fell, and Professor Wole Soyinka is a very violent man. Plus, nothing I said or typed here may harm me or mine. I’ll get wealthier instead for this!!

Pete Edochie, OBJ, and the importance of Professor Wole Soyinka’s public address to Nigerian students about the secret cults he co-founded.
I am attacking the source, and I will not stop until Christ returns (black people have hurt themselves too much for me to think I can fit it all in this one material appearance).
So, I’ll be here after I’m seemingly gone in the nightmares of the ones seeking to bring hurt to us all.
I may have to rewrite my lyrics on Olumo; of course, I will not forgive how Wole, Olusegun, and Gani Adams killed—our boys.
How Fela saved his own boys, while the professor, his cousin, was killing everyone else. And till I type these words, I am Karma’s child, and she tells me everything and nothing that I have shared here may cause me or mine harm”.

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing is celebrating two years of celibacy.

The movie star, who broke up with her ex-boyfriend in 2024, shared photos of herself on a flight, saying she was only catching flights, not feelings.

Nkechi said it has been two years of celibacy and credited it to her Maker.

“Catch flights not feelings. 2 years of celibacy. God did”.

Recently, Nkechi embraced self-love and spoilt herself with flowers. She said she had finally understood that she doesn’t need to wait for someone else to celebrate her.

Nkechi’s last public relationship was with Delta-entertainer, Xxssive, who she started dating in 2021 and broke up with in 2025.

Before him, she dated Ekiti State politician, Opeyemi Falegan.

After their breakup, Nkechi vowed to keep her next relationship off social media.

In a social media post, Nkechi, lashed out at women who leave their husbands to end up as side chicks to married men. Sending thunder to them, she affirmed her loyalty to dating younger boys, while admonishing the public to leave her to her choice.

NBS, as she is fondly called while weighing in on Uche Ogbodo’s marital crisis, said one should never think marrying a man they’re clearly feeding will last. According to her, such a marriage wouldn’t end well, no matter how they tried to cover it up.

Her statement didn’t sit well with many who single shamed her.

Clapping back at them, she said she would rather be single than be broke, miserable and settle for less. The movie star noted that she is crying in first class to a destination her haters can only dream of and revealed that their favourite stars are in her DM.

While preaching about growth, the once-controversial actress said she doesn’t envy married people because most of those she admired are back on the streets. She admonished people to walk away from those who, places, habits, and situations that no longer align with them.

While defending herself after criticizing Baba Ijesha and Luminee’s marriage, Nkechi noted how netizens are always quick to shut people up and bring up her constant failed relationships. She noted how none of her exes was paedophiles.
