Aftermath Of Kaduna Massacre: Fani-Kayode, Shehu Sani Divided Over El-Rufai’s Stance On Bandits
By Augustine Akhilomen
Former minister of aviation, Femi-Fani-Kayode has lauded the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai’s decision not to negotiate with bandits that have been terrorizing the state.
Recall that on Sunday, some armed bandits attacked communities in Kerawa, Zariyawa, Hashimawa, Wazata and other communities in Igabi and Giwa local government areas., where 50 people were killed.
Reacting via his official twitter handle on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode commended El-Rufai for accepting his failure to provide adequate security to the people and also vowed not to negotiate with the bandits.
” Yesterday El-Rufai did two things which gladdened my heart. Firstly he took responsibility and apologized for failing to protect those that were killed by Fulani herdsmen on Sunday.
“Secondly he said that he would NOT negotiate with terrorists but rather send them to their maker. Kudos!
Meanwhile, former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani believes the decision of the Kaduna State governor, El-Rufai not to negotiate with bandits may have a strong repercussion on the people of the state.
On Tuesday, Sani wrote via his official Facebook page that El-Rufai’s government must be equipped and ready to fight always if it refuses to negotiate with bandits.
Reacting to El-Rufai’s remark, Sani in a Facebook post wrote: “If you choose to negotiate with the Bandits who kill our people, you must be ready to please and appease them every day; If you choose not to negotiate with the bandits, you must be equipped and ready to fight them every second.”

2027: ‘Miracle Centre Presidential Candidate’ – Presidency Mocks Peter Obi
By Augustine Akhilomen
President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has described the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi as a “miracle centre presidential candidate.”
Bwala was reacting to Obi’s recent interview where he gave condition before agreeing to debate with the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Obi had said he would debate with Umahi when he qualifies as a presidential candidate of a political party.
He made the remark against the backdrop of the minister’s declaration that he was ready to debate with Obi over road infrastructure.
However, Bwala in a post on X, questioned how Obi emerged as presidential because he never went through the process of primary election.
Bwala wrote: “Peter Obi is telling Chude on his podcast that if H.E Dave Umah wants to debate him, he should first qualify as a presidential candidate first.
“Funny; the Peter Obi @PeterObi how did he qualify to be a presidential candidate? Did he (Peter Obi) participate in any presidential primaries?
“In fact has he ever participated in any presidential primaries? Imagine a miracle centre presidential candidate questioning a successful governor and performing minister on qualifications.”
