May we all trust the journey, celebrate our progress, and keep moving forward with faith.
Here’s to the beauty of growth and the power of gratitude.
It’s my birthday”.

Last week, Anita received praise from netizens following the meet-up between her siblings and their new half-sibling. Kemi Filani reported in October that Paul Okoye and Ivy Ifeoma had welcomed their first child, a baby girl in the United States.

Confirming the news, Paul Okoye had shared an adorable video of his older children with Anita, meeting their new sibling. Sharing the post, Okoye revealed that the past months had been filled with joy in his family, and it was the sweetest period in their lives. The adorable video has left many gushing and praising Anita Okoye for her maturity.

It is no longer news that Anita and Paul finalized their divorce in 2022 and the singer swiftly moved on with model, Ivy Ifeoma who he got married to in May of this year.

Despite their divorce, the former couple had kept things amicable between them. Last year, the estranged couple reunited at his concert in Detroit with his twin brother, Peter Okoye. Paul had taken his kids to his concert rehearsal alongside his ex-wife. However, the couple maintained social distance as they didn’t interact in the video.

Speaking out about it, Anita expressed pride in reuniting with the singer for the kids’ sake as she joyfully spoke out about the concert.

In April, the Paul and Anita reunited to celebrate their first child’s birthday. They had treated him to a low-key birthday bash and were later seen in an Instagram video happily chatting with one of their family members.

On Mother’s Day, Paul Okoye had sweetly celebrated Anita, and she had reciprocated it on Father’s Day.

Unfortunately, things didn’t last long between the two as in August, they unfollowed each other. Kemi Filani checked their respective Instagram pages and noticed the former couple and parents of three had clicked the unfollow each other. This came after Paul bought a second mansion in the US, presumably for his pregnant wife.

The revised categories aim to align with current industry standards and celebrate a broader range of musical styles.

Fans and industry insiders are watching closely on live.GRAMMY.com, where the nominations reveal will show which artists are in the running for music’s most prestigious awards.

The updated categories were outlined in a recent publication on the Academy’s website.

This year, the Academy introduced a “Best Dance Pop Recording” category, replacing the former Best Pop Dance Recording, and repositioned the Best Remixed Recording category within the Pop & Dance/Electronic Field.

These changes are in line with the Academy’s commitment “to support the evolving music landscape,” fostering an awards process that truly “empowers creators,” as stated by Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.

In his message to Voting Members, Mason emphasised the GRAMMY’s legacy as “a 67-year tradition,” underscoring that “every vote can shape the future of music.”

Additionally, today’s nominations serve as a prelude to the grand finale, the 67th GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, 2 February, which will be broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The Academy has also updated eligibility and submission guidelines, especially in the Songwriter of the Year category, which now allows songwriters to qualify with fewer songs, aiming to “welcome more voices” into the field.

Fans and industry professionals alike are eagerly awaiting today’s nominations, the culmination of months of voting and selection, starting with the entry period in July and the initial voting rounds in October.

The updates reflect a renewed commitment to “recognising excellence in the recording arts and sciences,” according to the Academy, combining “innovation and tradition” in equal measure.
